Appointment setup was easy. The person answering the phone explained what services were included plus the costs of added services. Appointment reminders were sent via email & text. Service agreement could be signed via e-signature. Kyle was on time & professional throughout the inspection. He was respectful of the new home by treating it properly (shoe covers, turned off all lights & appliances, etc). He reviewed each level of the interior after his inspection, as well as the exterior of the home. The inspection report was delivered on time as promised and was separated by Summary & Full reports, along with the additional reports for termites & radon. Photos clearly showed trouble areas. We used Garden State Home Inspectors recently when buying a home and we were thrilled with the quality of service we received. The inspector, David Haigh, arrived at the residence early and started the exterior portion of the inspection and when we arrived at the appropriate time, he was wrapping up and about ready to head inside. This helped us get the most out of the time we made available for the inspection.Throughout the process, David took the time to point out areas for concern vs things that were just cosmetic. Everything we touched on was photographed and written up in comprehensive inspection report. This allowed us to focus on the truly important asks back to the sellers and minimized any back and forth through the deal. In the end, we felt better that the house we were purchasing didn't have any major skeletons in the closet and that all safety items were being considered and that was balanced without having to disrupt the momentum of the deal.In the end, I fully recommend David and Garden State Home Inspectors. They may not be the cheapest around, however, they will do a through job and you can close your purchase with confidence! - 5/06/2021 

We have used Garden State Home Inspectors for 2 inspections prior to home purchase, once in 2016 and again just recently this year. Each time, I have been so pleased with the company's professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness. Dave is truly excellent at his job and so thorough. He even has a drone that he can fly over the house to get visualization of the roof/chimney! He works quickly and efficiently, but leaves no stone un-turned. He is also kind and easy to speak with as he teaches you about the home. He is calm and not alarmist about findings and very concise about whether a finding is truly a serious issue, less of an issue/cosmetic, or more FYI for home maintenance. The inspection report is easy to read and understand and makes it very easy to generate a request document for any repairs needed to a home prior to closing.
